Others replied you can run the 2.0.4 installer over an existing 2.0.3
though I'd rcommend generally to deinstall earlier versions of software
if the upgrade is a complete installer as it is with OOo.
Removed older files won't "irritate" the newer stuff.
OOo stores all user related infos in a separate folder so it won't lose
anything of your work while making room for a new clean install.
Maybe OOo will have incremental updates someday but for now a clean
install won't hurt.
