these by highlighting the section listing on the toc and then clicking Insert

Hiperlink. The dialog that opens is included as an attachment. Question is,

what combination of values in the fields will allow me to link to a *named*
Target and how to I create that named Target? I would like to be able to
insert new slides and still have my links work. It that possible? The
documentation for the Hyperlink dialog in OO says to insert a Bookmark, by I
find no place to do that. What am I overlooking?

Just from my memory: if you right-click on an bobject, you can choose interaction. That gives a window to link to ....

HTH a bit,

Thanks for any help. Bob

Hi Cor,

I don't think I was clear enough in my description. My toc is a bulleted list. I highlight one of those entries in the list and want to turn it into a link. There is no Interaction option when right clicking, so I go to Insert > Hyperlink (or click the tool bar button).

This is what I get. I can see how to link to a particular slide. But I want to put a *named* tag on that slide (I’ll put an invisilble object if I need to) and then refer to it by name rather than slide # in my hyperlink. I would hope that will allow links to keep working even if I insert another slide before the slide with the tag.

Is that possible?

Bob
