Arnold,
He is not the only one with the problem. I too have not been able to
get OOo 2.x to send mail on
any of my Macs running 10.3.9 and 10.4 and Apple's Mail program. OOo
1.x series worked fine.
I miss this very useful feature. Something is definitely wrong with OOo
2.x in this regard.
That it works for your one combination of hardware, OS and Thunderbird
does not mean that
it is working correctly for all instances where it should.

Jim,
I must disagree with you. I just tested it and I can send my documents
as email with Thunderbird. So if it doesn't work for you, it's not
OO.o that's the problem.

You haven't understood the problem and that is that 2.0.3 and now
apparently 2.0.4 do not recognize "Send Mail" whereas previous
versions do. This applies to Thunderbird and also Pegasus. The
problem IS in OO.o which you probably don't want to hear.
Can somebody please come up with suggestion to correct this or do I
have to wait for 2.0.5?
Jim
