Jim,
The qualification "Nasty" is totally on your behalfe. I just want to
understand the question that's being asked, so I can try to help the
poster in finding a solution. If they write in a language that I don't
understand (enough) then I have a problem with that because it prevents
me from handing a contribution. The native language lists are there for
people that are not able or fluent enough to write their problem in
english. Therefore I attend them on the users list in their native language.

Claudia,
Please keep the discussion in english on this mailinglist. If you
want to keep it in german, because you consider it a german issue,
then continue it offlist or move it to the german userlist.

Arnold;
Lighten up. If someone has a problem and they write in one of those
"nasty" foreign languages, and if someone on the list is able to use
that language and give them an answer, great.
Telling people "this is an English-only list" sounds at least a little
exclusionary , perhaps even elitist. Personally, I would only answer
"there is a German/Swedish/Italian/Swahili :-) list where people may
be able to help you in your own language," and leave it at that.
My personal regret is that my German is so poor as to be unable to
give anyone a proper grammatical answer to anything.
