You could always run ssh with the "-L" parameter, then Openoffice.org should
be setup to use MySQL on that port as if it was on the local machine.
Now, that's something that I didn't think of! I don't usually leave
sshd running, but just to try it out, I did. In any case, as it's
connecting via TCPIP I need the MySQL Connector/J that I cannot
install.
