I'm afraid that all the link to the resources external of the main file,
be it Writer, Calc or Impress are not preserved while exporting to pdf.

I proposed what would be my idea if I had to implement the whole thing
in OOo pdf export filter; the example there is only for writer, but I
guess it would be something similar for an Impress file.
But so far no one answered there...
