Well, yes and no.. the .xlw import is a quite rudimentary Biff4 import,
as old .xlw files were more a faked container of single sheet files of
legacy Excel versions. While the filter imports content like numbers and
formulas, formats and other attribution may be missing. So to be on the
safe side it is better to convert the files using Excel first. Newer
.xlw files created with recent Excel versions contain a "workspace set"
of currently opened documents instead and aren't handled.
