This is not a problem with Outlook but rather with the file system. I agree that Outlook should check and warn if the current .pst file exceeds a certain size, but it does not for the time being. And yes, I work in a large MS shop and several people 'lost' their mail due to this problem. Also, if you allow a mailbox within SeaMonkey to approach this size it too will be 'lost'. Solution: Backup your mail files to removable media often!
