If I understood correctly, you want to write in bold. You can either highlight the text
you want bold and then press the button labelled with a big "B" on the tool bar.
It is usually to the right of the font size. Hmmm. If you are using the
native French UI then the label might be different - G for Gras, perhaps???
Yes. Dans la version française, ce bouton est étiqueté "G", effectivement.
If this is not convenient, you could create one or more styles which have bold
pre-set in the Underlining section of the Font Effects tab. You can read about
styles in the Help or in the documentation on the web site. French versions
exist at http://fr.openoffice.org/ or English at http://www.openoffice.org/
