I know this question has been answered maybe a thousand times, but I'm
not a Mac-user so it's not really in my interest to know the solution by
heart. So I point it out to the OP that it has been on the list before.

This is a returning question about OO on Mac on this mailinglist. What I
know of it is that you need to install the X11 from the CD that came
with your Mac. The one on the Apple-site is for an earlier OS.
Maybe one of the Mac-users on the list can add something usefull to my
answer?

To whom it may concern.
I have a question concerning OpenOffice for MAcOSX 10.4. I've downloaded your
programm and tried to install it but I was told to install Apple X11 first. I
did so nevertheless my system already had a programm like X11 but later.
When I retried installing OO it still said I need to install X11.
What does it take for me to install OO on my intelmac?
Thanks a lot for your help!
