If IMAC is one of the new Apple computers with an Intel CPU, I
doubt that it will run on anything other than OS X Tiger. OS 9.27
will only run on a Power PC (if I have my terms correct.) There is a
version that will run on Tiger as long as you also install X11.
If IMAC is one of the earlier Apple computers that used 9.27,
then the answer is basically no. In this case, you could install a
Power PC version of Linux on a separate partition and run the Linux
version of OpenOffice.org on that.
