Usually this is because your antivirus programs think that OpenOffice.org file you've downloaded is a problem. This is a problem especially with McAfee (or maybe it's Symatec). Disable your antivirus software for the few minutes you are downloading Openoffice.org and the download should then work. You can verify the integrity of the downloaded file by using the MD5SUM as described on the download page.
