The latest version will run fine on Windows 98 as long as the CPU
is at least Pentium class and you have sufficient memory (256 MB if
possible and 512 MB is even better). A Pentium class CPU is
mandatory. RAM below 256 MB is likely to make OOo run much slower. I
use a laptop at times that only has 160 MB, and it is much slower
than my two towers.
