I'm trying to get a slideshow using some movies to run on MacOSX 10.4.8
PPC. However, when inserting the movie (a Quicktime .mov file) into the
slideshow, instead of showing the first frame of the movie a text comes
up saying "QuickTime and a Cinepak Codec by Radius decompressor are
needed to see this picture". I know QuickTime is installed and working,
and I can get it working fine in PowerPoint. I tried the same using an
mpeg movie just to make sure it wasn't just an issue for QuickTime
movies, but I have the same problem with that file format, though with a
different codec missing. I do, by the way, use OpenOffice.org 2.0.3.
I spent all day yesterday just searching these mailing lists and
googleing it, to no avail.
Has anyone experienced this problem before and know how to solve it?
Regards,
