Dear Flavio, John, My 2.0.4 installation problem - error 1935 - was easily resolved when I realised the need to turn off all antivirus programmes and firewall(s). Nor have I had any difficulty opening OOo after installation (I'm using XP Pro and FF 2.0RC3). You, of course, are not receiving the same error notification as I did, but it might still be worth your while to try deactivating antivirus programmes and firewall(s) and see if the installation then succeeds....
