I think you do in UNIX and Linux but you definitely don't in Windows; in fact there's no facility within OOo/Windows for doing it. Instead you use the Windows Control Panel: Double click the Internet Options icon, click the Programs tab in the pane that opens and choose your E-mail program. An alternative way of achieving the same effect is via Internet Explorer: Click Tools and then Internet Options. The same pane will open as mentioned above and you take the same actions. 3. If you want to use OOo to send form letters as e-mails (using Mail Merge) then you can (need to ???) specify your e-mail address and server name (but not the e-mail program to use) in OOo.
