Create a template with the correct margins: Format > Page opens a
window with several tabs. Click the Page tab. Set your margins there.
You might want to look at what is contained in the other tabs. If you
see something that you wan to change, do so. Then click OK.
Save this file as a Template: File > Templates > Save. Enter a
name for your template, and click OK.
Set this template as your default template:
File > Templates > Organize. Click My Templates to open this folder.
When it opens you will see the name of your template. Click the
template's name to highlight it. Right click it, and select Set as
Default Template. Click OK
Now every time you create a new document, it will have the
settings you created in this template.
