My only experience with this problem is between Publisher and Lotus
WordPro on Windows.
That being said.
Ungroup grouped information.
Remove all special frame commands like borders from images and text.
Then copy from Publisher document to Writer or Impress.
When pasting, decide which form, Paste or Paste Special will work best.
Ungroup again, if items appear to still be in groups.
If something is seems to be missing, it is most likely white on white or
transparent and cannot be seen against background
Try and select where it might be and modifying colors of that item to black.
Look for those first.
Publisher likes to add line returns and additional frames whenever it can.
Removing extra line returns will bring text back together.
Set all text to default. Rebuild text formats in Styles.
Reset all borders on Pictures/Frames.
I realize this sounds like a pain because it is.
