OOo 2.0.4 will install in a different directory from your V 1. During the install you will be asked if you want to use the same settings as you used in V1. (This would be a good idea.) No you do not have to move you data. If by this you mean all of your personal settings, that is part of the installation as I just mentioned. If you mean the files you have created with v1, they will not have to be moved.
