Dear C W,
1. Exit from the internet
2. Deactivate your firewall and antivurus programme(s)
3. Click the OOo icon you've downloaded and proceed with the
installation as per the instructions
4. After successfully installing OOo, activate your firewall and
antivirus programme(s)
5. Return to the internet (if you so desire).
As this question seems to be quite frequently asked on this forum - I
previously posed it myself - perhaps OOo could provide instructions on
the
installation wizard. Doing so would save, I am sure, a lot of people a
lot
of trouble and contribute to the popularity of OOo....
