I closed out Quickstarter and tried to remove ver. 1.1.4. The first time
I clicked "Remove" the cursor changed to an hourglass for approx. 3
seconds, on the next two clicks it did not change at all. No flashing
lights, no nothing.
Yes, there are two ver. in Add Remove. I went to Start> All Programs and
tried to go to Admin. Tools, but it is not an option.

Is the Quickstarter still running? Look at the System Tray for a grey icon with
two flying birds on it. Right click on the icon and select Exit Quickstarter.
Also ensure you don't have any documents/spreadsheets/etc open. Then try
Add/Remove again.
Are there two versions in Add/Remove? Which one are you trying to remove when
"nothing happens"?
When you say "nothing happens" do you *really* mean nothing? No change to the
cursor shape? No lights flashing on your hard disk? No messages?
Have you looked in your log files: Start>All Programs>Administrative
Tools>Event Viewer ?
