That depends upon whether you are talking about space between
sentences or lines. Actually either one can be done easily. You can
also adjust the distance between paragraphs.
If you want more than one space between one sentence and the
next, you simply add the extra spaces. This sentence has seven
spaces between it and the previous sentence.
If you want a larger space between lines, then use Format >
Paragraph and click the Indents and Spacing tab. At the bottom, you
change the "Line Spacing." The Default is Single. Click Single to
open the drop down list. Play around with these until you find one
that works well for you.
The middle section of this tab allows you to set the paragraph
spacings.
I use the Formatting and Styles window (F11) quite a bit. From
there I make changes like these for the particular styles I am using.
This way I can have different paragraphs with different spacing and
other characteristics.
