Since your first page says page number 2 this leads me to belive that what you 
see as page 2 (first page) is really page 2 most likely you have a manual 
page break at the top of what you think is page 1.  click at the very top and 
look at the middle bottom.  Look at the page style displayed does it 
say "first Page"?  If not find the break and delete it.
turn on /view/non-printing charactors/ this may show you where it is.
