I was looking for an images program but nothing too heavy like GIMP or
Photoshop as I don't have graphics training and wouldn't know where to
begin with them. I came across a free package called Paint.Net which
seems to target itself to amateur users as an easy to use step up from
M$ Paint. Its not affiliated with M$ though. I don't know the website
offhand, and don't have internet access here. A quick Google search
should call it up. I use it whenever I need to do something now without
as intimidated as I did trying to use GIMP, and enjoy learning to use
its features.

You should look at KolourPaint then. Best MSPaint alternative available.
