[users] Version 2.0.4 will not open - I am running OS 10.4

I removed the prior version and downloaded 2.0.4.  When I try to  
start the program after installation, the blue progress bar on the  
opening screen fills half way and than the application closes  
itself.  X11 was installed when I installed the prior version which  
ran satiosfactorily.  Any help will be appreciated.
