If you've had the diskettes for several years, you may need to be sure your current computer has a disk drive that is compatible with the diskettes... or that the diskettes are themselves still good. Try copying files from the diskettes to the local hard drive before attempting to open them with OpenOffice.org. Lotus 1-2-3 files should be importable; Pro Write I'm not so sure of.
