I am only new to the list and after visiting openoffice.org and doing an advanced search on 'Australian English Dictionary  and  I got the response
http://projects.openoffice.org/servlets/Search;jsessionid=52B32679ACB7548C701512E0BA40CE59?mode=advanced&resultsPerPage=40&query=Australian+English+Dictionary+&scope=domain&artifact=helm+project&artifact=picayune+ALL&artifact=wedge+ALL&artifact=eyebrowse+ALL&artifact=nidaba+ALL&artifact=apache+content&artifact=apache+help-docs&artifact=scarab+ALL&artifact=issuezilla+ALL&Button=Search

which does not seem to help me at all.
I suppose all I want to know is;-

Is there an English AU Dictionary available for open office and how is it installed into which directory. I take it its a text file and assume spell check utilises the same file.
I am probably not the first to ask this question and I am sorry to those who have answered it before me joining.
I find the Openoffice site most unhelpful in layout and presentation, but I suppose I will get the best it has to offer in time.
Like most all other English speaking country I am currently using a UK Dictionary which is almost 98% effective, however it would be nice to have the slight variations.
Thanks to all. My Distro is SUSE Linux 10.1 and Open Office is 2.0.2

Thanks Scott
