you may hold it in esteem but not I, which does not imply it is bad.

I would not just because it is closed source software.  I have been closed 
source software free for about 5 years.. I own my data they don't..  I like 
you run linux.. dumped windows about 5 years ago and have never missed it.. 

Lyx and Latex rule.. I think I forgot the thank the developers for putting the 
latex converter inside writer.. thanks.. I can now drop a couple of tools to 
get there.. Fred
