[users] difficulties printing

Having just installed open office 2.0.4 on my mac os 10.3.9 I find it 
impossible to print. The printer (epson 1280) shows up in the dialog 
box but each time I attempt to print I get an "ERROR, PAPER NOT LOADED 
CORRECTLY" although when I attempt to print using other apps I have no 
difficulty.

Please assist.
