please install X11 (not OSX11 !)

Where can you get the X11?

http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/
be careful: X11 for OS-X 10.3.n is provided by Apple's website,
X11 for OS-X 10.4.n is located on the installer disks.

And - please do NOT upgrade the installed X11 (for a while) -
Apple's upgrade still contains errors.
