This winter I will be selling CD's with
OOo on them, but as an extra.
The CD's are actually for selling
specialty font collections and there will be enough
room for OOo to be on it.
Get 100-200 themed fonts and dingbats, plus get
OOo as well, since the documentation for the CD
will be in Open Doc. Text format.
Look into the OOo site and you will see some nice looking
labels for OOo CD's.

Yes. You can use it legally, and copy it and give it to others - provided
it is really OpenOffice.org. Go to http://www.openoffice.org to download
the latest if you wish. It's free.
When you run it for the first time it will give you the option to register
your copy, or not. Registering does not sign you up for unwanted
correspondence and does not cost anything.
While not wishing to be alarmist, people should be careful when accepting
copies of OpenOffice.org, and try to ensure that it is a genuine copy.
Although I've never seen any evidence, it is possible in theory that a
"Trojan" copy could be used for identity theft, contain spyware, etc.
Copies downloaded from www.OpenOffice.org and from other trusted
distributors can be verified as genuine.
