Probably a page style setting.

  1. Click on a page which has the problem.
  2. Press F11 to see the Styles and Formatting window.
  3. Click on the fourth icon along the top of the window (looks like a
sheet of paper with top right corner folded down).
  4. See which page style is selected - right-click on this one and
     select Modify.
  5. Click on the Header tab.
  6. See if the Same Content Left/Right checkbox is ticked. If so, this
is your problem - untick it and see if that fixes your problem. If
not, maybe she's set up Left Page & Right Page styles (they're set
to automatically follow each other, I think). To fix that,
double-click on another page style (Default might be a good idea).

That help?

My daughter did something to here document to prevent the header from
appearing on everything page. The header only appears on odd numbered
pages. How might I fix this?
