Subject: [users] Base User Group.?
I have OOo 1.0.3 and am excited about using Base, instead of M$ Access,
for a project I am going to build at work. However, the project will
involve a lot of programming and data input work and I am a bit nervous
about it falling over further down the track - I know what I am doing with
Access, but have had a few disasters with earlier versions of Base.
I thought an OOo Base User Group would be a wonderful thing to belong to
for all of us who are migrating from M$ Access to OOo Base.
If anyone is interested in belonging to OBUG please get back to me and we
can take it form there ... maybe start up a mailing list, newsgroup, or
something like that (I am open to suggestions).
Kind regards, James
OO 1.0.3 is quite old. You might want to consider upgrading to the latest
version which is 2.0.4 Follow your nose from www.openoffice.org.
