What version of OpenOffice.org (OOo) do you have? All the version
from 1.0.0 to 1.1.5 used the STW format for templates. Versions 2.0.0
and above use the ODT format. My suggestion to you is to open each of
these STW templates in OOo and then save them as templates: File >
Templates > Save. That will convert them to the ODT format and place
them in the .../user/template folder.
Also, did you get the other email that suggested that when
downloading tempates, you should right click the link. Then select
"Save link as". This should cause IE to download the entire file in
one piece instead of trying to unzip it.
