Extention .ods is the Open Document Spreadsheet
which MS Office does not support - they wanted there
open document format to be the international standard
and currently refuses to use the current standards.
Since Open Office is free download (www.openoffice.org) and install it
Then you can read the .ods file
you also can re-save it into the Excel format
if you must have it in MS Office formats
Open Office reads/writes MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
standard file formats.
So the best thing you can do is try OOo and then
you can use both MS files and the
INTERNATIONAL Open Document formats
