1) What does that "package" have to do with OpenOffice?

2) Only an amateur would assume an app they wrote in any language is
secure.  Proper security requires *LOTS* of scrutiny from experts and
even then it's still suspect.  You can never prove any form of
encryption is secure.  You can only fail to break it.

3) Ever hear of PGP?  It's a an excellent package that's considered,
though not proven, very secure.
