I think I downloaded openoffice last night, finishing well after
midnight. I didn't
have any error or non-completion messages this morning and therefore
downloading
was completed.
But, I can't find the files/programs. So, what should I do now?
You will find it where ever you saved it! I assume that you saved it in
the default location suggested by your browser.
You can find out where that is by starting another download (of anything,
not just OpenOffice.org), and watching where it suggests you save it. You
don't actually have to download the file once you've identified where it
wants to save it. You are likely to find the OpenOffice installation files
in that location.
