I bet you do. look at the HTML specification ie web pages. The concept of a tab or tab stops does not exist in the page rendering engine of a web browser. Page formatting for presentaton is done in several ways. 1) css (cascading style sheets) which is a seperate document downloaded along with the page you are displaying. 2) things like &npsp&npsp which will insert two spaces on the page. 3) tables these will not be picked up by the clipboard when cutting and pasting from a browser to OO or anyother application. So I would expect you to have problems. Now as for the tabs not working do you have tab stops set on the line you are attempting to insert tabs into.. If not I would expect them to be ignored. What shows up when you "show non-pringing charactors" F-10.. This may give you a hint on where the problem is.. Fred > > > Howard Sallee, pastor > Cowden/Lakewood UMC > P. O.
