Do you have any "friends" that have high speed Internet???
If so, ask them to download and burn you a CD
Does MAC still read Windows CD's???
I make sure I give my "dialup" friends a new copy of
OOo every time an upgrade comes out.

(http://download.openoffice.org/2.0.4/index.html) is a button labelled
"Order OpenOffice.org on CD".
Try clicking it.
