The first three menus come up in the upper left of the screen and
they sit there. File commands are greyed out, as are the others.
So, I then go to X-11 and click on it in the dock and it brings up
OO, after a very scary all grey screen.
Now, no problem launching database or writer, or spreadsheet or
creating templates.
But, database is responding like it is on some heavy downer drug,
like I'm playing a 78rpm record on 33.33. Or worse.
So, can I strip out much of the unnecessary overhead, like icons for
stuff I don't do?
Is there a nice neat brief classic comic book on database?
