1.) If it is a spreadsheet, save it in Excel's format. (File > Save as 
and change the File type drop down list from 
Open Document Spreadsheet (.ods) to
Microsoft Excel 97/2000/XP (.xls). Select the name you want and click 
Save. DO make sure the box labeled Automatic file name extension is 
checked at the bottom of the Save As window.

2.) Open a text document in OOo. Format > Page opens the Page Style: 
Default window. Click the Page tab. In the Page format section, 
change the first drop down list to A5.
