Hi, I would like to start using OOo in my organization to replace my Excel VBA that I am currently using to create reports based on information in a .csv file. I would like to hold the data in a MySQL database instead of the .csv file also. In order to conveniently control the data in the MySQL database, I want to use Python, specifically the MySQL-python-1.2.1_p2 set of modules. I would like to figure out how to include this module in the built in python installation in OOo. It should go in the folder:
\OpenOffice.org 2.0\program\python-core-2.3.4\lib\site-packages but I can't figure out how to do a "python setup.py ..." to get it to install there. Does anyone know how to do this?
