hi, my name is kevin, and i'm having trouble uninstalling an older version of OpenOffice from Windows XP home. i got a virus that deleted a lot of exe's, including my install file and my main exe. In an attempt to remove OpenOffice and perform a clean install, i removed anything in the registry with OpenOffice in it... not the cleanest way to uninstall... but there wasn't much of an option at the time. I was wondering if there was any kind of tool for removing OpenOffice without using the original uninstall file. if not, i would need an install file from the version i had, which is also problematic because i don't remember the version. it would probably be the version that was most recent as of about 4 or 5 months ago. is there a place i can get the older install files? please let me know what you think would be the best course of action. thanks, kevin
