Hi! Thanks ..... I could not find the menu item you are refering to in draw/impress (I found it in writer.....)....maybe I have a different version... But , right now , I realized that there is a "picture placeholder" button on the options toolbar......when I switch that on the paths are shown instead of the pictures....a little bit stupid of me not to see that before now....
