Have been using OO now for a week. I like the program and have had no

How do I accomplish that? Can't find any info on the home site.

Before reinstalling, try renaming the folder containing your user settings to something like .openoffice.org2.old. I don't know where the file lives on a Mac - it will be wherever such folders are usually stored.

When OpenOffice relaunches, it will create a new user settings folder with default settings and you will have to go through the registration screen again but, with any luck, the problem will be fixed. The onset of many problems is caused by some fault in the user settings folder. That is more likely to be awry than the installation itself.
