You may have to get with the computer generation.
You need to amend the shortcuts by adding " -nologo" (without the "") at
the end of the command line in each menu and icon shortcut that you use.
I understand that in Windows you can right-click the Quickstarter icon
in the taskbar to open a programme without a splash screen.
