I am using version 2.0 of OpenOffice.org. My problem is :

When converting the file i added to this e-mail i selected the point
"semikolon" to get the Data as i need it but in the B column
openoffice Calc cuts out the comma that is supposed to be behind the
third number. When watching the whole document it seems as
openoffice always cuts out the comma if there are more then 3
numbers behind it. Can you please tell me how to change that because
i need to get a diagram out of this and this diagram makes no sense
with those much too high numbers.

First, attached files usually do not arrive in this mailing list. Yours did not so we cannot see the problem.

Second, you may find it more convenient to discuss your problem in German. You can do this by sending your e-mail to [email protected]

Third, I *think* your problem may be connected to the fact that in English we use the comma to separate large numbers into groups of 3 digits. We use the full stop as a decimal point. In German it is exactly the other way around. So you would write one thousand and five plus seven tenths as "1.005,7" but |I (English despite my surname) would write "1,005.7". We even *say* it differently; I say "point seven" (= "punkt sieben"), you say "komma sieben" (= "comma seven").
