To save in Microsoft Word format, simply select "save as" and in the drop-down box where you choose file formats, just select "Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP" and hit save. To reiterate the previous reply, the conversion from OOo format to Word format is not exactly perfect, so, depending on the amount and type of formatting in your document, there could be some formatting problems in the Microsoft Word version. PDFs are much more reliable.
To save as a pdf, just open the file menu and select "Export to PDF". Hope that helps. --Benton ----- Original Message ---- From: Johnny Andersson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, December 5, 2006 11:01:29 AM Subject: Re: [users] Micrsoft Word Format If your teacher is not supposed to edit your files, I would recommend to export to PDF format instead. Then it's more likely that the file you send looks exactly like your original file. Converting to Word format might give you or your teacher some minor problems, depending on how complex your document is.
