Hi, I just bought a Mac (MacBook Pro with Intel processor) that runs OS X ( 10.4.8). I tried downloading Open Office (the latest stable version) for Macs. When I tried to install it, it said that X11 was not installed. I downloaded X11 from Apple's site, but when I tried to install it, my Mac said that it couldn't install it because there is newer software on my hard drive. I looked for X11 under the "Utilities" folder, but there's nothing there. I even looked on the installation disks that came with my Mac. No X11 there either. Does anyone know what I should do? Can I install Open Office on my Mac?
