i have to report my problems with getting started with open office , 
since there obviously ais some error in the download program ,which 
almost prevented me from installing-and some frusttration that there was 
nobody responded to my problems.
After downloading OOo (straight from homepage-according to procedure as 
lined out !) the system had problems with  printing-it would only print 
out one page on my canon md 3110 .It would only print out one page and 
if there was more it reported "paper error" -a problem i couldn´t get 
around .I
I tried to delete program and download again - I tried to delete program 
,close machine ,and download again -same result - no matter what i did 
-same problem-so on the brink of giving up i paid a friend to help -with 
tha same result! until he found a cd-rom with tha program and finally 
-it was ok !
I think it is shitty -and without any response whatsoever -in the 
installation process!!!
